Our last night in Paris was a special one. The elegance of a city like Paris did not stop us from keeping up our streak of maintaining constant gaining of nutrients through (very classy) sandwich bars, only this time our not-so-luxurious means of food took a turn for the extravagant as we were greeted by the glow of the Eiffel Tower upon our small little designated park area.
The evening was magical. I remember singing along to music lying in the grass, and how we were all overcome by the sheer feeling of family. I think we realized then more than ever how special this little group of exchange students in, how insane that we are all somehow in each other’s lives, and the strength of the love we share for one another. It was a night I will never forget.
